Semuliki National Park is a unique and diverse ecosystem located in western Uganda, bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo. It’s the only lowland tropical rainforest in East Africa, making it a haven for a wide range of wildlife and plant species.

  • Birdwatching Paradise: Semuliki is renowned as a birder’s paradise, boasting over 440 bird species, including many forest specialists and Albertine Rift endemics. The park offers excellent opportunities to spot rare birds like the African Pitta, the Nkulengu Rail, and the Green Woodhoopoe.
