We are a Boutique Eco Tourism lodge offering executive accommodation and exquisite tourism experience and strategically located just within 10 minutes’ drive from the Chimpanzee Trekking booking office/start point of Kibale National Park.
Our Lodge sits on a 5 acres’ piece of land strategically located on the shores of Bigodi swamp and on the Fortportal – Kamwenge road. The lodge boosts of 5 Executive cottages, 1 family cottage and one standard room with other facilities including; restaurant/bar to provide maximum comfort to our guests. The cottages have been extravagantly spaced and furnished to provide both the ambience and comfort that is unrivalled.

As we‘re on honeymoon, they even decorated the room for us and we enjoyed a bottle of wine on our own terrace. The setting feels serene and natural, perfect for relaxation. The cottages are fantastic—comfortable, well-designed, and in harmony with the surrounding environment. Despite its forested seclusion, the lodge is conveniently accessible and located near the main road. The customer service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who make the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s an ideal choice for anyone seeking comfort, tranquility, and great hospitality close to nature.Verified Big Rooms in Cottages with nice terrasse We enjoyed our stay of two days. The rooms in Cottages with a. Terrasse directly in the forest is really nice. There were also some monkeys in the forest. Full board was very good.especially the breakfast which was freshly prepared (no buffet). The stay at the lodge especially for the Chimpanzee tracking is highly recommended. It is outside the season and perhaps that was the reason for some power shortages. Even showering for one person ends in cold water, and the second person had to wait some time for new warm water. The hotel is amazing, and our whole group is absolutely delighted! The location is very close to the starting point of the trek, which is especially convenient. The food is outstanding. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with hot showers and excellent beds. The staff were attentive and caring — every request was handled promptly and with great care. We had a scheduling issue with the chimpanzee permits (the time was moved to the afternoon), and the hotel kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer and have lunch. They were exceptionally spacious and clean. They provided a turn down service and shoe cleaning after a morning of trekking chimpanzees. The food was nice and the staff went above and beyond being helpful and friendly. There’s WiFi in the main dining area but not in the rooms. Die Lodge ist der Wahnsinn. Super schön und super sauber. Die bungalows sind sehr groß und richtig, richtig schön. Von der Terrasse konnten wir Vögel und Affen beobachten. Sogar beim Abendessen sprangen Affen durch die Bäume. Das Essen bestellt man a la carte und alles war super lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sogar unsere Wanderschuhe wurden nach dem Trekking sauber gemacht. Was für ein Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
