After arriving at Lake Mburo National Park, enjoy an evening game drive. Alternatively, choose an optional boat cruise on Lake Mburo for close-up wildlife sightings.

Day 2: Walking Safari & Transfer to Mgahinga

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking safari across the savannah plains. Accompanied by an armed ranger, search for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, topis, and more.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga

Today marks the highlight of your 5 Day Primate Safari. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Rangers will explain trekking guidelines and assign your gorilla family.

Then, venture into the forest. The trek may last 1–7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. However, the reward is extraordinary—an intimate hour observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
