The location was extraordinary and the accomodation itself was also beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was taken care off, and the rooms were stocked with everything you may need, (including bathrobes). The food was also terrific (the best we have had in Uganda) and we could choose every dinner between 3/5 options each course. The lobby/restaurant was also tastefully styled. All in all, we had a great time here and can recommend it to anyone!Verified We loved it!! Tutto superlativo.Verified Dream like property right by the chimps! The Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge was a tree house dream! The property is built into the jungle, an amazing wooden structure with high ceilings made from dried palms and open, with views of the jungle. Three different kinds of monkies (and babies!) could be seen from our room and from the dinning area! Lots of exotic birds too! Our room was spacious and comfortable and felt large with the high ceilings, very cool too during the warm days! We had a big porch with lounge chairs to watch the moon rise in the evening and the monkeys and birds play in the day. The service was top notch. Nightly turn down service, laundry, they even washed our hiking boots for us before we packed them for home! Ice seems hard to come by, but they brought some on request for a bruised foot. I must shout of Owen, or main server for our meals. So friendly and kind, he served our three course meals, coffee and juice and was very professional and accommodating. Each night, he took our breakfast order for the next day, asked us what time we wanted it, and it was always ready on time. Our driver Alex was amazing and always prompt! It’s a two hour drive from the airstrip to the hotel (on a paved road) and he picked us up right on time, and in the morning before our trek he was there waiting for us in the morning! It’s only a five minute drive to the base camp for the chimp trek! And he communicated with our guide to pick us up in a new location when the trek was over. He was so kind! The nature walk with Bernard was also great! It’s right next to the property, saw five kinds of monkeys, many birds, the waterway, and local farmers. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out many plants and trees as well! Took around two hours, highly recommend. Overall it was a dream, so quiet and relaxing, loved the open air layout and the large rooms. Extremely safe with armed guards at night, although the town is perfectly safe. Perfect service, perfect location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.Verified Amazing location, beautiful lodges Wow! This place is incredible! My husband and I stayed here for our chimp trekking experience and the lodge was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t believe how spacious the lodges were! We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching the birds and monkeys in the trees. The staff was so kind, welcoming and helpful. Owen was our server and he was very generous and listened to every request. Alex was our driver to and from the airstrip and he was so friendly and easy to talk to. The food was very good, although the lunch and dinner options were somewhat limited. One of our favorite parts was relaxing on our huge private deck, where we could watch birds and monkeys right from our room. It was such a peaceful and unforgettable experience.
