Day 1: Arrival and Transfer
Travel from Kampala or Entebbe towards southwestern Uganda and the gorilla trekking region. Day 2: 1st Gorilla Trek
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for registration, briefing, and allocation of your gorilla family. Begin your first trek through Bwindi’s dense forest accompanied by experienced trackers and park rangers. The trek may involve steep trails and changing terrain, but the search becomes rewarding when you locate the gorillas. Spend the permitted viewing time observing the family as they feed, rest, move through the vegetation, and interact naturally. Day 3: 2nd Gorilla Trek

Day 4: Final Day and Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before completing your final activities in the gorilla region. If your second gorilla trek is scheduled for the morning, proceed to the park headquarters and enter the forest with your guides and trackers. The second trek offers another opportunity to observe mountain gorillas while appreciating the importance of protecting their forest habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some time to freshen up before departure. Begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, or continue to your next safari destination.
