This 6 day wildlife and chimpanzee safari takes you to the best two Uganda safari destination, it involves activities such as wildlife viewing through game drive, chimpanzee trekking at Kibale forest, boat cruise on Kazinga channel. You meet 4 of the 5 African Big game animals together with a remarkable Chimpanzee encounter.

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Our driver guide will pick you from Entebbe airport or you hotel in Entebbe/Kampala after your breakfast and embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park situated at the foothills of mountain Rwenzori in Kasese District through the Masaka – Mbarara highway. Stop at the equator monument for photographs. Later proceed to queen national park check-in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Sunrise Game drive & Afternoon Boat Safari – Kazinga Channel

After your early morning breakfast, you will head out for the amazing game drive through the Kasenyi plains searching for predators and grazers on a game drive. This Park is known to have the highest biodiversity of any protected area in East Africa.

Return to the lodge for lunch after which you will take a boat safari on Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This offers an excellent opportunity for photography moments of Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants and magnificent bird species by the water.

Day 3: Transfer & Local Experience – Kibale National Park

Today morning, we will transfer to Kibale National Park that has the highest concentration and variety of primates in East Africa with 13 species and overall 60 mammal species and so far offers the best excellent chimpanzee tracking in Uganda. On this day, we will have a Traditional visit to one African home and we shall share a typical Ugandan meal prepared to you by a typical African Woman in a typical African surrounding. The meal is called the Luwombo and the guides shall go through with you in this African life and setting as part of our Authentic Local experiences. Later we will proceed to your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight as you wait to meet man’s closest relative the following day.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking & Tinka Home Experience

Early morning breakfast, continue to Kibale park headquarters for a morning briefing and start the chimpanzee tracking experience that will bring you close to our relatives that survive in the jungle. Kibale forest is dense and regarded as the Primate capital of east Africa due to its large numbers of primates and fauna. Expect loads of monkeys, birds and lots of tree species that will give u a touch of being in the jungle. In the afternoon we shall go for a local lunch experience at Tinka’s Homestay that will unite your spirit with the African organic foods, this is done by a family living around the forest as a community-based initiative to community collaboration towards conservation.

Day 5: Bigodi Community Experience & Relaxation

Today, you will have your breakfast at leisure before you head out for yet another African immersion experience. You have an opportunity to visit a swamp with abundant butterflies, plants, animals and spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and will be of great interest to birders. After this experience you will take a village walk that will lead you to the Coffee experience, banana bear making, busket making and traditional healer before you return back to your lodge for relaxation and bonfire.

Day 6: Depart – Entebbe International Airport

After your relaxed breakfast, you will check-out and embark on your transfer to Entebbe international airport for your outbound flight. We hope you had the best of your time in Uganda’s countryside and watching the Chimpanzees in their home.
