All staff were friendly helpful and attentive. They try to help in every way (they even cleaned our hiking boots for us 🙂). The accommodation is amazing and comfortable. The chef produces excellent meals from quality produce and presents them beautifully. We found the water pressure to be very low but that seems to be a result of the location. The lodge is very close to the Chimpanzee Trekking entrance. If we are ever in the area again we would love to stay with Kevin and his team again. Wir haben mit einer Gruppe von 14 Leuten ganz spontan diese Unterkunft im Kibale Nationalpark im Juli 2024 gebucht. Eigentlich war die Renovierung der einzelnen Lodge's noch nicht abgeschlossen und die Neueröffnung stand kurz bevor. Die Inhaber haben dann, da wir dringend eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für 2 Nächte brauchten, einen großen Aufwand betrieben und für uns die Räume innerhalb weniger Stunden fertiggestellt. Die Versorgung war sehr gut, die Zimmer sauber. Kurzzeitige Schwierigkeiten mit der Wasserversorgung wurden schnellstmöglich behoben. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. As we‘re on honeymoon, they even decorated the room for us and we enjoyed a bottle of wine on our own terrace. Despite its forested seclusion, the lodge is conveniently accessible and located near the main road. Overall, it’s an ideal choice for anyone seeking comfort, tranquility, and great hospitality close to nature.Verified Big Rooms in Cottages with nice terrasse We enjoyed our stay of two days. The rooms in Cottages with a. Terrasse directly in the forest is really nice. There were also some monkeys in the forest. Full board was very good.especially the breakfast which was freshly prepared (no buffet). The stay at the lodge especially for the Chimpanzee tracking is highly recommended. It is outside the season and perhaps that was the reason for some power shortages. Even showering for one person ends in cold water, and the second person had to wait some time for new warm water.
